To keep our customers satisfied, we set the quality bar for our products, systems and processes as high as possible. In the context of our zero-fault strategy we are always striving to continuously improve our quality management system so that we are not only able to identify and remedy faults and mistakes but prevent them from occurring in the first place.
Our quality organization supports this pursuit of quality in the individual plants through a number of quality coaching and quality control measures.
Simultaneously, the business unit "Central Quality Management" ensures the further development of the management system with respect to a global standardization and fine-tuning of processes and systems in all Dr. Schneider Unternehmensgruppe plants. The decisive factor here is the introduction of fault prevention and a strict implementation of "lessons learned‘ routines.
Our "Focus on Excellence“ philosophy aims at achieving the highest quality for each and every product. It is one of the tasks of our materials laboratory and the department of Measuring Engineering and Function Tests to verify that. Every component is put to a rigorous test and only after successfully passing all necessary inspections it will enter the process for series production.
The application of various measuring and test procedures, however, starts as early as the prototype phase and accompanies the product through all phases of the product development process as well as during the entire series phase. Our customers not only benefit from secured quality standards but also from the enormous in-house competence we have to offer in this area.
We perform all tests and measurements to our customers' requirements and specifications with utmost precision, pass along certain requirements in advance to our service providers and suppliers and document the results in detailed test reports.
Apart from measuring out dimensions, the performance range of our test procedures encompasses all functional and stress tests as well as vibration tests, endurance tests and climate storage. In addition, our materials laboratory determine the quality of the products and components, e.g. with respect to chemical integrity or being weather-proof and colorfast. As regards simulations – from multi-year UV exposure to vibrations on off-road routes in the Scottish Highlands – there are virtually no limits.
