Data Protection

We, SMR Automotive Beteiligungen Deutschland GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "MDRSC"), appreciate your interest in our website and our services. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We reserve the right to adapt and change this privacy policy at any time; the latest version always applies. We therefore recommend that you consult this declaration regularly.

It is possible to use the site without providing personal data. In this respect, we do not collect any data unless you provide us with any yourself via the contact form. In this case, the data will only be used to answer your inquiry and will be deleted if you so wish or if storage is no longer necessary.

To deliver the website, ensure functionality and optimization, so-called log files are collected, which your browser transmits to our server, such as IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. Log files and their contents are stored for a maximum of 3 days and then deleted, unless they are required for the clarification or documentation of abusive or illegal use that has become known within the retention period.

This also applies to the processing of contract-initiating or pre-contractual measures as well as post-contractual services and complaints.

If necessary, we transmit the necessary information to the service providers and partners commissioned to carry out the survey.

If necessary, personal data will be passed on within the group of companies to contracted service providers, partners and other authorized recipients. Social plugins

Our website uses social plugins. These are marked with the corresponding logo and link to the respective website. When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the respective server. The social media operator thus receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website and can assign this information to your account, provided you are logged in. If you do not want the social media operator to collect data about you via our website, you must log out of the social media account before visiting our website.

Facebook

Our websites use so-called social plugins ("plugins") of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins

When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" button or leaving a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection information: www.facebook.com/policy.php

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Facebook plugins with add-ons for your browser:

Mozilla Firefox: addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/facebook-blocker/

Opera: addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/facebook-blocker/

Xing

This website uses the "share button" from XING. Therefore, when you access this website, a connection to the servers of XING AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany, is established via your browser. This provides the share functions (e.g. displaying the counter value). Your personal data is not stored when you access this website. In particular, XING does not store any IP addresses. Your usage behavior is also not evaluated. You can read the current information on data protection with regard to the "Share button" and other relevant information in this regard at www.xing.com/app/share.

YouTube

Our websites use components from YouTube, which belongs to Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. You can prevent the use of YouTube by enabling cookies by simply blocking them. In this case, no data about you will be transmitted to YouTube.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

LinkedIn

Our website uses functions of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time one of our pages containing LinkedIn functions is accessed, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend" button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn is able to associate your visit to our website with you and your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn.

Further information on this can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy at:
